put a towel over it then iron over the top of the spill, this will melt the wax and draw it into the towel.

There is two ways to remove wax from carpet.
1/ Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can .Use a dry clean white terrycloth place it over the wax spot then heat it with a iron on low setting because most homes have polyester carpet, and if the iron gets too hot, it'll melt the carpet. Keep checking the spot every ten seconds or so, moving the terrycloth so that a clean spot is on the carpet.
2/ Which is the better way. Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can Heat up a full kettle of water and pour it slowly on the carpet at the same time with a wet vac vacuum up the water. Keep on doing this until the wax is removed.

Hello Scrappy. Well first take as much wax of as possible with a blunt knife. Once you have done this use a brown paper bag or paper used in sending parcels by post . Lay the paper on top of the wax stain and with your iron on a warm to hot Temp, Iron over the paper , this will melt the wax onto the paper . If there is still a mark left . then wash with a sponge using tepid water and a small amount of your own hair shampoo, it works just as good as any carpet shampoo. Then lay a towel with a heavy object on top leave over night .This helps the lift any water from the underside of your carpet let dry with natural air ,You might have to sponge this area at a later date as sooner or later the water mark always reaches the surface

If the wax is solid, Put a very hot container- like boiling water in a steel bowl and place it where there was wax. The wax would melt, after it has melted, get a damp cloth- well a bit soaky, and rub it to the carpet.

I've answered this one several times before. It's easy, just scrape as much wax off as you can. Get a warm iron, brown paper, and keep ironing the patch. The wax melts into the paper. Keep moving the paper onto a clean spot, until all wax removed.

Never tried this, but it'll probably work. Pour boiling water on so the wax will melt away without burning the carpet. Let it dry out and it should be good as new.

All you need is a brown paper bag like one you get fruit and veg in or greaseproof paper and use a cool iron setting and iron it up, the wax oil will absorb into the paper as it mealts removing all existance from your carpet.

break off as much of the wax as you can with a butter knife and vacuum. then use iron (medium heat?) with a paper towel in between to slowly melt and lift wax - wax will stick to paper towel. If there is a lot of wax, it may take a while and a few sheets of paper towels
