Two years ago, i woke up in hospital after collapsing with a burst stomach ulcer. For some reason a puked a lot of blood, lost a lot of blood and was in hospital for 2 weeks, then off work for another 2 weeks. I had to start eating sensibly and rest more. I sometimes wish i could drink more Mohito's though!

Had the flu, Christmas '03; I'm tough, usually I work through everything. That had me laying in bed moaning 'oh my god...'
it was bad.
The other thing wasn't exactly 'sick' I was pregnant with triplets, at 44. Delivery by C-Section, and each one was a little over 5 lbs. What an adventure that was...but, everybody arrived 11/4 healthy and feisty.

After my second baby was born (c-section) I got a bad infection from surgery.
The pain was unbearable, I just wanted to die.. and I had a fever of like 104 degrees.
I was advised after it was all done to never have any more children, which would normally be heartwrenching for a young person to hear, but if having another one means doing that again, I'm gonna take their advice.

aside from a normal stomache flu--I just took a lifeguarding test last week. When I got done, my head felt like it was gonna explode (blood pressure), I could barely walk, and all my muscles were burning. I had the headache for 3 days afterward :(

Had pneumonia last year and ended up in an induced coma for 7 days as I'm a diabetic and my sugar went sky high.

Just got over salmonella poisoning a week ago after eating at a seafood restaurant, was sick with a fever, diarrhea and drowsiness for 3days.
