Anyone heard of any work from home jobs that aren't a scam and dont' require a large amount of money up front?

Most of these places are scams... you may be able to work from home doing medical transcriptioning or data entry, but you may need to prove yourself in-person for about a month or so at first. Other than that, I'd suggest trying selling items on eBay. It you place an ad in the paper, you could list items for people by charging a small up-front fee and taking a portion of the profit. You'd need a digital camera and the ability to research general items to make an accurate description.

Yep. I found mine at www.tjobs.com which is a telecommuting job board, not a biz opp or any money to start....however there is an annual fee to apply to tjobs postings and I believe it is very small like $15 a year and well worth it. You can view all jobs before applying, and without having to pay. I also strongly recommend teletech, I have worked there in the past.
