I wouldn't do that. I don't know how desparate you are for pitching but Zito is changing from AL to NL, traditionally pitchers going to NL do pretty well (better than NL to AL).
See Bronson Arroyo. So he has an upside. Halladay pitched over 200 innings last year for the first time since 2003. His ERA and WHIP were low and he is looking like an 18-19 game winner. If healthy, he will probably make 30 starts. Wright on the other hand will play 150 to 160 games and make more impact on your team than Halladay.
Hammerin Hank is due to make a come back but I am not buying it. Even though he was playing through injury, he cut his K's down and his avg still went down. My thought is that I could probably do better on the waiver at speculating on a 3B to have a good year. I'll take my chances at Edwin Encarnacion getting better rather than relying on a player to make a come back, and if successful, to get the same numbers Edwin had last year.
Blalock is a big risk in this deal and a risk I probably wouldn't take even if I didn't have David Wright.
Your first draft pick is what you built your team on, you can't trade him for a late round 3 and round 12 pick.

Not very good. Your giveing up way too much.
Wright is way better then Blalock.... and Zito and Halladay are not that far apart to make the difference. With Wright you have a potential 100 30 100 30 guy
With Blalock you will get a 100 20 80 0 guy.
Halladay will pitch well but not that much better then zito to make up for the difference. Keep your guys

Getting Halladay for Zito would be a steal for you. I don't see Zito putting up the same numbers as Halladay ever. However, giving up Wright for Blalock is risky. Wright is an up and coming superstar who has a bright future ahead of him. Blalock did have success in the past, but last year was a down year for him. With a new manager taking over in Texas, you must ask yourself, how do you think Blalock will do? If you have another 3B on your team that is good trade bait, try trading him for Blalock. Blalock for now would be a good backup for when Wright has a day off.
Good Luck

Ehh...it doesn't look good, only because Halladay hasn't had a healthy year in a few years and Blalock absolutely can't hit a lefty if he tried. At least you know what you're getting with D. Wright (100 R, 25 HR, 100 RBI) and Zito (15 wins, around a 4 ERA, 1.30 WHIP).

no, david wright is a great hitter, one of the games best players, and a top ten pick, well, he should be, halladay is good, but will he be able to put up the cy young type seasons that we've been used to seeing from him, i mean, how old is he? blalock is a good pick if you've forgotten to get a 3b by like the 18th round. as for zito, i think he has a lot of hype to live up to, with his huge contract (seven years should not be given to ANY pitcher), and i dont see him living up to it, but its still not worth giving up david wright for roy halladay. other than guys named pujols, there are very few certains in the world of fantasy sports, but david wright is close, barring injury

unless you have an awesome offense, dont do it. blalock is coming off an injury. wright struggled in the second half last year,he was on his way to a 40-140 year. halladay may be better than zito but its marginal.

No deal. David Wright is much too valuable to give up. Blalock has struggled the past 2 seasons and even in his prime wasnt as good as Wright is. The upgrade in pitching simply isnt worth the downgrade in hitting your team would take.

Nope, the last I read they were checking Halladay's shoulder. Even with a healthy shoulder don't do it. Blalock is good but inconsistent.
