what does constipation feel like if its bad? I never had it but after my daughter was born i have everyonce in awhile get cramps in my abdomen and it feels as if its bloated or blocked.(mostly on my sides directly under my rib cages. I went to docs and they said all was fine not blockage or anything. It can last from a couple hours to on and off for a week or more. what could this be>? I also get pretty bad indigestion during this time.HELP

embarrasing to talk about but it is accompanied by a lot of gas, the worse time is around my period

Watch what you are eating, add fiber to your diet, plenty of liquids. Regarding your indigestion, watch for gallbladder problems which are very common after delivery. If you are getting a burning, heavy feeling in your chest after you eat certain foods, it may very well be your gallbladder. This happened to me, doc said ulcers, gave me ulcer meds, ended up with an infected gallbladder and emergency surgery. Keep an eye on it. Fried foods can be a problem too. Make sure you are getting a proper diagnosis from your doc.

to me it also sounds like gas, but you need to be persistant with the doctors. Go back and tell them that it is still continuing even though its not a blockage and ask them what other tests they can do to find out what it might be.
