The start of April see's our first wedding anniversary, I know that traditionally in the UK it is paper. I would like to get him something romantic, with a paper theme but am stuck for ideas. Any suggestions welcome.

paper huh, Id be super sweet if you made a collage/ scrapbook of your two's adventures, and hand write on it sweet things/inside jokes. Or I guess another idea is get you and him a plane ticket to somewhere, that's on paper ;)

The same thing a lot of men want on such a sentimental day, affirmation of his sexual desires. Just start the day off kinky with him. When he wakes up to see his lovely wife (I´m sure you are) in a thong, two ponytails, and librarian glasses, with a lollipop, he´ll take care of the rest. I prooooomise that. Because I know that if my wife did that for me I would jump up like Speedy Gonzalez and carry her off to ´freaky town´ where anythings a go go...where time of day has no place, where the wild monkey people do their special dance, ahhhh ahhhhh, I tell you, that is what ANY man wants. So if I helped by having 10 women glance over this redaction, atleast I might have sparked an idea. And by the way, I don´t care if my wife was gonna buy me a real present, I would prefer THIS one. From a guy, understandable by guys, Love and Respect.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it more of a homemade feeling.

Love, you can follow the traditional anniversary gift, but do you think that it will matter to him what ever you give him?? How about your love, and a special treat. You can find a picture that the two of you had,take it to a store where they can blow it up bigger, then use it and make plan to have a very romantic dinner for two. You two don't need to go out to celebrate, make the restaurant comes to you by setting a table for two, 1 long stem rose on top of it, surround the room with lots of candles, play some sweet and soft music. Cook one of his favorite meal that goes with white wine for two.
from there,you wear a very sexy dress with high heels, dance with him,till the music stop, then the rest will be making the evening romantic...................wishing you two all the happiness in the world..

Other than gifts you can make a plan for the whole day like prepare some special dishes for your hubby and make a surprise plan for a candle night dinner for you two with special items, Champaign and strawberries. It will be a perfect anniversary gift for your husband, OR you could book tickets for you two to watch a play or musical and plan a dinner at your husbands favorite restaurant. He will be really happy. The main reason behind celebrating anniversary is to make your partner feel how much special he or she is in your life and to strengthen the bond of love and togetherness.

but i mean thats just a sayin.
but umm u could go him a watch or something. and when he comes in from work or something be laying there wearing nothing but that and a paper ribbin and tell him he has to ripe it off with no hands and he only has like 30 sec. or something. make it a sexy game or something. make it fun.
