We have seen most of them and we are trying to find more obscure, less known films.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Basically, and of the Masterpiece Theatre films are a great choice. They're aired on PBS where I live on Sunday evenings.

Look them up online and see what you can find. Often a local library will have them to check out (for free! better than Blockbuster!) ...

Those types of films are some of my favorite actually. You might like "Wives and Daughters" and "The Forsythe Saga". Those are some of the best I've seen on there recently. Also they did a new version of "Jane Eyre" (one of my all time favorites) and it was really well done.

Good luck.

Howard's End is a good one. North and South is not an English period movie.

Cold Comfort Farm is a great one! It's kind of a satire about Jane Austin kinds of movies, but it is very good. Also, "A Secret Garden" is very good.
