Sorry, I should have explained myself.


What I meant was although the bugs feed on Shino's chakra, is that what runs through their veins? If so, then I could understand that they'd survive in cold weather... but I thought they were normal bugs that ate chakra, not bugs composed of chakra.

Why wouldnt he be able to? His bugs survive by feeding of his chakra so as long as he has chakra, his insects will continue to fight!

Well he does have the ability to get bugs so there might be bugs that go in winter. Also I do think the bugs feed off of his chakra so they can live and they can attack when ever shino wants so there.
