I highlight at home about twice. It gets lighter each time I do, so then I go to the salon, have them dye my hair back to its original dark blonde color and then add highlights. Then twice back home again.

When I do red, I have them do that in a salon.

At home. I buy whatever brand is on sale, because I need two boxes of the junk. The salon charges too much.

My cousin owns a beauty salon so I get all my hair stuff done for free. I would probably owe her well over $2000 for all the stuff she's done to my hair over the years!

first time I dyed my hair I paid €60 to get it done at a salon
Second time, I did it myself with a home kit for €6.50 and I did a hell of a better job than the hairdresser-won't be going back to the salon again...

Cat uses L'oreal Excellence, at home. Cat used to pay Catbrother $45 a pop, but when he told her he couldn't do something Cat knew *she* could do at home, with no residual damage to cathair, Cat decided to do it herself. Silly tomcat. He just didn't wanna. So he lost $45 every 3-4 weeks. Plus, Cat has not had her fur trimmed for close to two years. It's long and curly now. Cat looks like a persian - lol!

Oh, he's not really Cat's brother, she just calls him that becuz she loves him, and he's kinda a funny-like guy.
