turn quick with your hand, hold the wheel with your knee then straighten out your car with the hand again?

wow that's interesting. well the way i would do this is; by using the meat just below my thumb, jus push and turn the wheel with the one hand. since ur doing left turn; start at the 9o'clock position, and turn counterclockwise. just by using pressure u can control the rate of the turn. once the turn is complete; jus ease the pressure, this will allow the wheel to slip and u can still control ur recovery from ur turn; i do this all the time when i drive. that's how i was taught, by my uncle a delivery driver.

No. Never.

You have no control of the car in that situation. And you don't know what's around the corner until you're already there!

Never put your hands on the inside of the steering wheel either. I had a friend who broke his wrist because he hit a bump.

No. I can turn the vehicle with one hand without the assistance of my knee.

oh, of course-all while eating a blueberry muffin, talking on the cell phone, adjusting the radio, drinking coffee, and putting on my mascara. Is that unusual or something?
