is my computers MAC addresss visible to others, such as websites i visit, or hackers? if yes how can i hide it?

Under most circumstances, no. In order to get that, someone would either need to be on the same router as you (if you're using a desktop), or "sniffing" if you're using wireless. For most website surfing, etc, the most that they'll get is your IP address.

your MAC address is not visible, but your IP is... i wouldn't worry about it.. you can spoof your mac address by either running a router, or you can find software spoofing tools. your best bet is not to worry about people finding your mac address.
