There are a couple of ways to look at this. One is as an investment. The other is as possibly a career enhancement opportunity. I believe management is very interested in who thinks enough of the company to invest in it. If I were running the company, I would. Those would be people very high up on my list for promotion, other things being equal.

Hey, that is part of your pay package. Even if the stock just stays even you have already made 17% on your money. I would take advantage of it. Who knows the company could have a good run and you'd really be in the money.
