Have you ever noticed that gas prices go up before a local or National election, and then when election and voting time comes around the canidates all say "We promise to lower gas prices!" and then, lo and behold, gas prices are lowered, whether a Republican or a Democrat or whatever has been elected?
Also, prices go up during tourist season Like here, there's so many people flooding in at once, and they have no choice but to pay the high prices or travel 2 and 3 hours out of the way to pay 3 cents less/gallon.

the biggest reason is that oil is now traded on the futures industry like a proportion of inventory. investors purchase up the oil futures growing to be a guy made scarcity and then carry directly to them lengthy sufficient for the cost to upward push and then sell them for a income. The oil agencies have not any administration over the cost of a barrel of oil on the international industry. If our legislators might permit the oil agencies recuperate oil from the relatives aspects that we've in this u . s . the speculators does not be assured a income interior the oil futures markets and the cost for a barrel of oil might drop in the present day. Even earlier the oil replaced into recovered the possibility of a much bigger furnish might reason the cost of the futures to plummet. So few human beings understand the way the oil markets artwork it somewhat is frightening, and the media does not problem to coach the same old public the two. each and all the fake suggestions accessible is nerve-racking and not in any respect effective. the biggest profiteers in oil are first the speculators, 2nd is the government, and thirdly are the pension money that carry maximum folk of oil agency shares, in that order. some politicians might prefer to take the earnings the oil agencies make out of the peoples pension money and improve government spending, and the longer each and every physique is blind to how the oil commerce works the plenty greater in all probability which will become. this might destroy a large form of the retirement money that each and every physique is relying directly to stay off in previous age making them dependant on government amenities justifying the jobs of a few potential hungry politicians. ( you may ensure which political social gathering helps this path of action on your guy or woman , they are an identical ones who many times stand interior the way of having better obtainable relatives aspects of oil )

With record level lows of a barrel of oil, it would seem that the price would go down like it goes up. When a barrel goes up a dollar gas goes up 25 cents, when it goes down 10 dollars we get a 7 cent deduction....doesnt make sense. I believe the gas companies can just blame anything on the increase so why not? If I can get away with selling water for 100 dollars a gallon who wouldnt?

Well because the president spent all the money he was supposed to save, so he's trying to get it back by raising gas prices, or the soldiers in Iraq need more supplies.... what ever rocks your boat!!

I'm not sure exactly why, but I like it when the prices go up because the more it goes up, the less people can afford it, and thus there are fewer cars on the road in my way. I hope it goes up to $8.00 a gallon.

Hell Yeah there high. It's up to $3.00 per gallon. And it's because your President is a very greedy man and is not sympathetic to American lives and economy.
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR COUNTRY AND OUR SAFETY!
