Covergirl.com has a virtual make-over program that will show you how all their products look on your face.
Once you determine what works for you, but you don't like CG products, just write down the colors, and see if you can match them with a brand that you do like.

i work for Estee Lauder you can go to any Macy's or Saks nordstrum any thing like that and get you makeup done for free and they can tell you what will work with you skin and what does not and what color you can where also i know Estee Lauder will give you a sample of your make up color.

mary kay does that. go to marykay.com. you pix the person with the most similar features that you posses, and they have different colors to put on the person.
