Listen to the song 'Sister Madly' by Crowded House.

It has a line about something buried in a backyard and 'all the dirt that you're digging up'.

Plus, it's an awesome song.

It was written about waking up in a room with his sister who regularly suffered nightmares.

Depends on the size of the burial place. If it is small, I'd get a metal detector and check it out first. If it doesn't show any sign of metal, then I might would not bother with it. You might dig up a cat or dog. If it is a big area, well yeah, that's kinda curious.

Yes, but be sure to do it with a shovel and never with your hands as you never know what it could be! But by all means definetly dig it up as it could be a bomb and if it is something that could harm you or looks incriminating then don't touch it and call the police!
