i really really like MCR , but my Mom tinks they r evil n Devilish , cuz 1 day she walked in when i was watching "welcome to the black parade" and she`s like (they r welcoming ppl frm the dead to this black parade?!)
and she forbidded me to ever listen to them again ! that rlly sux ! cuz they r my fav band !! :(

Their not evil... i kinda see where your mom is comming from, but their not evil... its just a really emotional song. If you actually take in the lyrics they are really good. And yeah mcr is a really good band! Its sad that your mom said that cuz its not true! My parents freaked out on me too for that until i actually explained what the song meant to me...

Well....I am personally not a fan of MCR anymore seeing as they are over-rated and not all that grand anymore, but they are okay and tolerable. I don't think that they are evil and I think you should sit your mom down and make her watch the video and explain to her exactly what is going on, she might not want to right away but Im sure if you go about it the right way she will be willing to listen to you. You might have to bug her a little but if you like MCR that much it will be worth it...

I think thats the most stupid thing I've ever heard!!! I love MCR too!!! Tell your mum that you don't tell her what to listen to and it's a music video, it's not real, they're just using there imagination to make a video!!! Trust me there are a lot worse music videos out there. Sorry to sound over the top, but I love them too!!! Rock on!

How old are you? There is no way that she can tell you that you can't listen to them. I'm pretty sure you have a radio or a computer and some headphones so listen to whatever you want. Does she let you watch the news, that has alot of stuff on there that is "devilish" if you ask me.

Tell your mom about MCR and why to like them so much. At some point she will understand. I am 13 and my mom & dad let me lishon to them. I don't know if it would help but get your mom to lison to more MCR so she can understand more about them. I don't live with you so I don't know how your mom is. So I hope this help. I think any one should to any musci that they find cool and people that don't like it should get over it! hope it help. P.S. sorry for the spelling mistacks. :(

Are you aware of the story of the album? In "Welcome to the Black Parade", a man dies and Death comes to him in the form of a parade since he loved parades when he was a child. Explain that to her. And it's silly to think that MCR are summoning a zombie army.
When the Antichrist comes, he won't come in the form of a mediocre pop-rock band.
