A single co-worker of the opposite sex who does the following for you, romantic interest or friendship?
showing concern when you are sick, offer snacks and cookies, offer to accompany you when you are alone for lunch or dinner, bring you dinner when you missed a company dinner, drives you to work occassionally, invites you for dinner. Have no reservations about showing his care and concern. Flirts with you occasionally (not a sexual way)

I thought he was showing romantic interest.

But, when I ask him to join my husband and I for dinner, he is ok with it. So does it mean I had misread his signs and that it is purely friendship?

He sounds like a person who enjoys the company of others and is concerned for their well being.

If he doesn't make you uncomfortable and you aren't interested in pursuing a romance with him, it doesn't really matter where he is willing to take the work 'relationship'.

No you didn’t misread his signs. He’s agreeing to have dinner with you and your husband to see what your relationship is like with your husband. He’s trying to see how hard is it going to be to persuade you to cheat with him. He sounds as if you’re attracted to you and if you allow him to take it further by all means he will. The question is how far do you really want this to go. If you feel that he’s coming on to you and you love your husband then you need to back away from your coworker some. Not saying act nasty towards him but you need to not show any sort of affections back. You also need to consider this, if you start something with him if things go bad can you work with him afterwards? Is he the type of person that will ruin your name and reputation? Getting involved with someone you work with is never a good idea.

I'd say either he likes you as a friend only or

he is some kind of pervert and doesn't mind going out with you and hubby so he can get some kind of cheap thrill watching you two interact.

Unless you are the kind of woman who has lots of guy friends, I'd be suspicious.

One other thing, he could be a closet gay and wants your husband. Down Low-didn't you watch Oprah?

He's interested. Just be careful to listen to any concerns your husband has regarding how much time you spend with the guy. If you get any butterflies you'd better cut it off immediately and make more time with your hubby. Infatuation kills marriages if you let it.

Are you LOOKING for a relationship with this person???? Hello!!!! Didn't you say you were MARRIED??? Or did I misread something here??? If I were you, I'd be running in the other direction! And furthermore, work is a place you do "work"....not recreate episodes of "One Life to Live".......

He just wants to get you in bed. He wants you to start depending on him, so he can use guilt and freindship to make you make the worst mistake of your life and cheat while you are in a commited relationship.

I think he's probably just a nice guy. I do the same things myself.

His actions and concern sound very feminine. Are you sure he's straight? He may be just looking for a "girl" friend.

You are married and should not be encouraging a single man.
