If the question was about getting a Mac/PC you would have got plenty of answers leading towards the near perfect (or prefect) Mac with none of those “PC” problems at all. But sadly none of the “MacGeek”s are here to troubleshoot. Surely they’d blame it on something else, like “you have heavy fingers and broke the power button, It's not Apple's fault”
Anything to justify the perfect OS.

check and make sure that all of the power cables are plugged in. When you say it shuts off... does it shut off while you're using it? Or does it shut off after you've left it for a while? Many computers have an auto-shutdown feature to save computer energy while not in use... or a standby/hibernation mode. If this is bothering... just check the settings and see if there is a way to disable this feature.
