NEED HELP gecko poop is different then better blackish before brownish is also eating sand?

If he's ingesting sand, it can cause a serious or fatal blockage. Change the substrate: there is reptile cage carpeting available that can't be ingested but is easy to clean. Buy two: one to use and one to wash. Go to www.gekkota.com for more information on the specific type of gecko you have. Check his specific dietary requirements and make sure he's getting the proper nutrients and environment.

Take him to a vet ASAP and get reptile carpet to replace the sand.

he needs calcium if hes licking sand give him a small dish full in his cage to lick at will
