my labtop screen got pushed in. now i cannot use it anymore.
i tryed to connect it to a pc monitor, but win it gets to my desktop the screen shuts down. and it goes back to the labtop screen. i am using i (toshiba) labtop. the typ of monitor is a (compaq)

In the function keys on your laptop keyboard, look for one that says something like LCD/CRT in blue (or a color different from the regular labels on the keys).

When the laptop boots up, press Fn+that function key until the image shows up on the PC monitor screen. This key combination toggles the display between LCD only (the laptop screen), CRT (an external monitor), or both.

Plug in the external monitor to the computer first, and then boot it up.

you might have to close the laptop screen

if it still won't come up on your monitor, then you might need to change some settings.

make certain your pc is linked to an identical HDMI port because the enter being displayed on the television. as an party; in case you plugged the HDMI cable to the 2d HDMI port on the television (HDMI 2) then make certain the enter on the exhibit is on HDMI 2.
