Jay z received a check for $204 MM. If you add that to what he is already worth that's at least a half a million dollars. Jay will also continue to design the clothes so he will still get a monthly check from the group he sold it to. Jay z has partnerships with Coca cola, budweiser, GM, and Reebok. He has put out more than 10 albums (he still receives royalty checks for), is the president/CEO of DEF Jam (He plays for the team he owns), has done numerous concerts and will more than likely push out 2 or 3 more albums. Be honest here, even if you hate Jay Z, do you think he will be a billionare by 2008? I DO!

Absolutely! Some people underestimated him because he is a rapper but was really surprised that he is great business man. There is no stopping Jay and I think there is more than one reason that he sold Rocawear. You never know what he is going to do next and I think he has something really big in store. Just his artists and his albums alone, added on to his other business ventures, will make him a billionaire by 2008.
