Since we never should have been there in the first place, it is long overdue.

I agree ASAP, however "That Girl" has an excellent point. The US should never have gone into Iraq in the 1st place, but they did. The country is in turmoil. Civil war has already started and the puppet government wants the US out so, literally all he!! can break loose. I truly do not think Bush intends to pull out ever. Even though, until he manages to change the "Constitution", he cannot run again, I do not trust his cronies- Cheney, Daddy Bush & the rest of the neo-cons not to try something. Unless the Democrates can come up with a very dynamic leader, who is able to control the Party, there will be problems and serious ones. Both parties are controlled by "Corp.-America and the WTO" , so it should be very interesting and dangerous over the next year or so. May God protect your troops and the Iraqi people.

First permit me element out that we nonetheless have troops in Bosnia and Kosovo. we could desire to call for that bill Clinton (the troops will basically be there for 2 years) pull them out. As to the living house Democrats, they are able to in all probability bypass this bill in the event that they attempt extremely not undemanding (they have a somewhat large majority interior the living house). as quickly because it gets to the Senate it gets shot down, and if by using some risk it made it to the President it could be vetoed. What the Democrats are doing is attempting to lose the conflict without needing the blame for it.

I agree that our troops need to be pulled out of Iraq but even sooner than what the democrats want how about pulling them out now before we lose any more

I sounds like a good plan to me. Start bringing the troops back now little by little instead of sending more in & let the Iraqi Army & police take control of their own country as they should. We can't stay there and hold their hands forever. Besides, Most of them don't even want us there. They are sick & tired of Americans running the show. So let them stand on their own.

to me the reason they want to wait that long is because everybody will be running for race example say bush wants to be there for 4 more yrs and he wins the race so they keep him on as president, but they really need to pull our troops out of Iraq. they been there way to long.

It is a further attempt to put our troops in harms way and divide the country.

i think it would be a mistake because you can't just go somewhere, turn millions of people's lives upside down and then leave without fixing it for them

I think they shouldn't wait so long. I have too many friends and family members that have been away from home for nothing for too long.
