Kahn is a world class goalkeeper but Yashin is legend. They didn't call him the "Black Panther" for nothing.

lev yashin played football a long long time ago..honestly i don't know how good he was but he must have been a really great goalkeeper to have an award named after him..oliver kahn he is a living legend..there is no doubt about that..i don't think it's fair to compare who is better between the two..lev yashin he defined how good a goalkeeper should be..and oliver kahn is a living prove of how good a goalkeeper can be..

never saw Yashin play, but even though I have seen Kahn play in the 90s and on, I would still say Yashin. from what I've read many think he was the best. i'll take their word for it.

Pleeeeez... Lev Yashin defined the position. Oli shouldn't have been at the WC this past year.

Lev Yashin was and is the owner of the position. Khan is good but Gordon Banks was better in my opinion. Scmeichel would, I think challenge him as well.

Ridiculous question.
Kahn isn't fit to lace Yashin's boots.
