Bladders in children and mostly in boys develope more slowly than in others. This is why they have problems wetting the bed. There is nothing you can do about it. The child can wear pull ups when it comes to night time sleeping. You should not be embarrased and neither should the child. It is actually a very common thing. Some children are also very heavy sleepers and do not receive the message that they have to go when they are sleeping. make sure the child is getting lots of rest and limit their fluid intake before bed. If they are going to bed after consuming alot of liquids you are only incouraging the situation. Hope this helps. Good luck and Good health to you and yours!

Possible stress, too much fluid before bed, deep sleep, I've started to wet the bed a couple of times lately and im twenty two , but i think its cause i have severe anxiety and was on drugs for ten years. Someone told me that it was more common than you would think. Try using plastic bed liners and suggesting those dry night pants. I live by myself and am too embarrassed to go to the shop and buy that stuff for myself. Other causes are diabetes, weak bladder anxiety or the brain signals not waking you up in time, I'm justsaying what Ive heard from other people, but don't get angry at them it might make things worse.

I once read about children still wetting the bed even though they're at the age when they're not supposed to do so anymore. I can't recall a lot of what the newspaper article said, but I do remember that the problem can be solved by consulting with a doctor and/or psychologist.

This is a serious question & requires a serious answer. This problem is not physical, it is a psychological one. This indicates a sense of insecurity in his mind. Even if the child pisses off before bed, he/she still wets the bed & this is sure sign of sense of insecurity in his/her mind. Try your best to observe and attend his/her behavior. Don't expect for quick results.
