I am with you we dont need stupid questions
I would recomend you ;
Try the acura gsr engine
Is identic with 2007 civic SI 200hp
And should fit in your car

Your best bet would be to stay with a honda motor. Since you have a '03 try to use a '03 motor or newer. I'd stay away form B-series motors just because there '01 and older and more trouble to swap than there worth into your body style civic. Your best bet would be a K-series motor. you will need motor mounts, wiring transmission cables and many other parts but would be fun in the end.

Another 2003 honda civic LX engine. Some pretty talented engineers put that engine there and made it fit. What makes you think you're smarter or more talented than them?

Go with the big block 454. You may not be able to see over the engine, but everybody will be behind you anyway.
