What happens if there is no joint tenancy for your home when your spouses dies.Do I get the home or only half of the shares where this would be my second marriage, and he has a house.What about the rest of athe .assets?This is in ontario Canada.

I know the rules of the US, but not sure about Canada. I think you would still get the house, and the other assets, AFTER all his bills are paid in full. But it might take selling his house to pay the debts. You need to hire a Lawyer to take care of your husband's estate. The Lawyer will charge the estate a percentage after he is done settling everything.

You would need to consult with an estate lawyer, or whatever the Canadian equivalent is. It's a lawyer that handles wills, estates, etc. I'm sorry for your loss, losing a spouse is probably the worst thing to have happen. God bless.

If he has children then his kids will get all assets,
No if you can prove joint marriageable union and that both of you contributed to home then you should get dwellings.
