Electronically synthesized blended with live Cello?
That 1984 movie had me fall in love with Virginia Madsen.
The cello piece played by Madeline in the song "The Duel" is the Minuet #4 in G (BWV Anh.II.114) from "Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach" by Christian Petzold (formerly attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach).

Chromeo. provide it a hear to. Its like 80s electro-funk. different than that some electric powered Six songs.... not asserting they're certainly funk yet they do ensue to have some good ones that sound a tid bit funky.
