How do you kill mosquitoes?

easier said than done.
first you need to eliminate their breeding habitat. standing water. any place where water can stagnate, like old tires, pails, puddles, etc. are all likely places for mosquitoes to lay eggs.
nature has some excellent "bug zappers" bats, purple martins, and swallows, all have a voracious appetite for the pesky little buggers.
you can attract them to your yard by providing them with habitats that are specifically designed for them. bat houses and purple martin houses can be purchased commercially or you can google search "bird houses" and find numerous web sites to help you build your own. don't just buy the cutesy ones at the craft shop. bird houses need to be customized for the species you're trying to attract. the the overall size, the size of the hole, and the heigth of the hole off the floor are all important considerations, as well as heigth off the ground. also , purple martins are colony nesters that prefer wide open spaces, so most of the houses designed for them look like mini apartment houses on a 10 foot pole in the middle of the yard. not hanging in a tree.

there are sprays i guess.... uh, maybe a sweet liquid that will draw them near it, and they will drink, but have it as a poison maybe. or you can always use your shoe lol
