Hearing absolutely...I could learn to speak without hearing, but I couldn't imagine not being able to see my children smile at me.

Hearing- I lost some of my hearing when i was born and i just couldn't imagine not being able to see-my brother cannot hear at all and he drives and works and does all the normal things-sight would rob him of that kind of stuff.

I would rather loose my hearing, sometimes when I am at home with my wife and 2 daughters I wish I lost my hearing.
There is a lot more you can do as a def person then you can as a blind person.

I would have to say hearing...I say this because I am legally blind and was born only hearing partically out of my right ear. I in recent years am losing eyesight. I rather keep my eyesight and never hear again. I want to see life and be in it not imagine what it looks like.LL.
