there's this guy i like (see question labeled "Teenage question:older advise welcome'') anyhoo, we were throwing a football around after church last night and just talking and he asked when my family was goin to sea world. i said next week sometime (during spring break). and he said, yeah, we're going to Busch gardens next week and i said oh, i want to go there so bad, and he said why don't you come with us, and i said i don't have any money, and he said, it's just $60, and i was like, i know but i'm saving remember? (i had previously told him i was saving for a video camera because i like to make movies and music videos, which when i do get it, David will be the star of all future projects, he said he would do it) and he's like right and sounded dissapointed. i have $70 and i need $150 more for the camera, should i continue saving or go to the Busch Gardens with him and his family?

Save for the camera. You''re already going to Sea World, David's going to be in your videos and Busch Gardens will always be there for you to visit again.
If you spend the money that you've been saving, think about all the saving all over again... what you have lost just for something short-lived (and it's not a fleeting opportunity, either) when you have made so much progress saving so far.

I was just at Busch Garden's 3 weeks ago, and had an AMAZING time, but it is not going to be "just" $60.00 dollars, if comes out a little more with tax, and plus you have to think about money on atleast ONE meal that whole day, and theme park food is expensive, and if you get thirst and want a $4.00 bottle of water.. a decent experience there will cost atlest $75.00, and that would leave you with asbolutely nothing for that camera you have been saying for. If the camera is that important to you, then I would just keep savings, but if you know you can save the money back very quickly, then just decide if it is worth it. Good luck girl.

Go to Busch Gardens. But remember you will need more money for food and drinks. There are a lot of discount tickets out there - try to find one. You can even buy a combination Busch Gardens/Sea World Ticket - perhaps your parents would spring for the "normal" Seaworld Price and you would have to pay less for Busch Gardens. Many grocery stores in the area probably have discount coupons as well.

Here's another thought for you - are your parents insistent on your going to Sea World? Perhaps you could stay at home and they could give you the entry money!

Learn now while you're young you need to save your money. Buting yourself that camera will bring you more pleasure than going to Busch Gardens. Don't get into the roll of blowing money on something you don't need.

First of all, unless you are over eighteen years of age, your parents will have to be brought into this decision. If this "guys" family is trustworthy, your parents can then decide if you will be able to to go on spring break with them or not.

You have to be smart enough to know that $60.00 is not going to be enough money to cover all of the expenses you may have while you are on spring break. You have to think about money you may need for meals and snacks and even simple things such as bottled water, this can add up to between fifty and seventy-five dollars per day.

You need to discuss this invitation with your parents as soon as
possible. Good luck.

Don't go, save your money. Spending your money on the camera will leave you with something to show for it, the trip will not. It will be more than $60, when you factor in spending money and food.

I think you should save for your camera unless you really want to go with him to busch gardens. I would just save and next time go. Maybe you could ask to baro the money.
