Arr this happened to me .... have you had a new / replacement card recently???
Delete your old card details and then add yours again !
Otherwise do you have another paypal account? as your card might already be registered there??
Hope this helps !!

Well, just giving them your card number does not do anything. You actually have to transfer money to your paypal account in order to pay for something with paypal.
You should log into your account, select deposit, then add however much you need to send the guy, then go through the checkout again.
Though, the fact that they have not responded to your emails yet makes me think that you might not be sending it to the right email, or you sent it to a spoofed email address.
Paypal has their own communication system that doesn't really work through email. The way you do it is log on to their site, go to their "Contact us" page, and then they just have a form that you fill out that goes directly to customer service. Then they send a response to your email address. They are usually very good about at least sending a response saying that they recieved your message and are forwarding it to the correct people.
Did you sign up for a paypal account before you made this transaction?
I would keep an eye on your credit card balance to make sure someone hasn't stolen the card number. The way you described this transaction makes me think that this was some sort of phishing attempt.

You are missing a button somewhere that get's you to a payment screen. The "Pay Now" button should not take you to a credit card screen unless you don't have one.
Try logging to your PayPal account independent of the Ebay and then use PayPal to pay for the Ebay auction direct.

Paypal has a phone number you can call and ask questions and they will answer you and help you!! Customer Service Center @ 1-402-935-2050 Hours (4am-10pm) Mon-Fri and (6am-8pm) Sat-Sun P.S. Don't e-mail them anymore,it is best to call them if you have any questions pertaining to your PayPal account! They will ask you some questions like: the phone number listed on your account and the last 4-digits of your credit card or bank account listed with PayPal!! Just be patient!! I called one time before for my son, and they did help!! Hope this helps!! Good-Luck!! Later

a minimum of you have recourse via Paypal as against western union. as long as you do not see sellers head to head there's no thank you to foretell the tip result. that's the prospect anybody takes whilst paying for on line. in case you utilize a credit card via Paypal you have much greater recourse in case of fraud. by using a techniques paypal would be the fewer riskier thank you to pay in this situation.
