Yes. I am married to a Monkey Man and his entire family has converted Seventh Day Adventist. On top of that they all live one house after the next on old family land (no escaping). Monkey Man did not convert, and when he announced he was going to marry me a CATHOLIC omg. Heard it all, was not saved and going to burn in hell, even told my son (9 at the time) that is when I said , okay yelled, something about leaving me and my religion alone. Also, my son. My son also attends a Catholic high school, now. The cruelty got worse before they finally realized I was here to stay. Thay are very decent people and I now love my in-laws very much. I am still burning in hell for being a Catholic, can't help that....

specific I switched over from Christianity to Buddhism some years in the past. i could desire to basically not reconcile what are key tenants of Christianity with what i actually believed in my concepts and heart. there is not any element mendacity to your self. i replaced into without understanding having concepts that accompanied heavily with Buddhism. I met a Buddhist monk on an identical time as vacationing a temple interior the north of Thailand basically as a vacationer. We had an excellent talk and purely reported to me ultimately that it could be a concept if I appeared at Buddhist ideals and to make up my own concepts. He replaced into outstanding and that i've got by no potential regretted it as i'm a much greater effective person than i replaced into earlier.

No, no one has ever tried to convert me to their religion. Respect is always a given and always reciprocated on that matter, thank God.
