Why do some people immediatley taunt and aim to hurt internationally?

I know people get tired and forget the internet is a phone conversation but is there a specific reason? Especially if someone comes forth giving it their all to express and share. If you don't have a reason than 2012 is waiting for you (jokes).

The WWW is designed in such a way that it appears that everything you need is at your fingertips, inside your computer, and under your control.

The problem with this is that some people take this sensation to be some kind of omnipotence. The relative anonymity of the WWW only makes this worse.

Note I make a distinction between the WWW (http) and the rest of the internet. This is because http is so easy. People always seem to be shocked that if you make the WWW so easy an idiot can use it, that idiots will actually use it.

It is a good way to keep people down. Rather than work on personally improving themselves, people recognize that less effort is required to just criticize someone else which will deflate that person's hopes, cause them to give up on their ambitions, and keep them at the same level of despair as the taunter, who then experiences the reward of knowing someone else's life is just as miserable as their own.
