i asked this before and all people could do was call me names. i personally do NOT under any circumstances feel that one who is born with some sort of abnormality is any way less human or less important to our society, so why do homosexuals insist they are not so? i'm only saying they have a birth defect, because its not natural to be born with an attraction which denies reproduction.
i personally have no problem with people who have birth defects, because i'm not ignorant. my sister has a birth defect and i love her with my whole heart. she is no less human.
this just makes me wonder what the world is coming to that we have to discriminate towards people that are born different. it bothers me that homosexuals can be so hateful and ignorarant to these people. it really affects me on a personal level, because of my sister.
Has anyone else encountered such discrimination and, dare i say, hatred, towards these people by homosexuals, or perhaps others?

recer51: exactly! who is to say what is "normal". so why do people jump to the conclusion that one who is born with a birth defect isnt "normal". i have a right to be offended to. when a homosexual concludes that i'm insulting them and saying they are not normal and human, then it is as though they are saying "i'm not like your sister! shes a freak!"
does that make sense?

Perhaps homosexuals were challenging you because of your assumption that it is only natural to reproduce. I am heterosexual and have never had children, nor do I intend to have children. Does this mean that I also have a "birth defect"?

I believe certain population studies over the years have shown that when a given population achieves certain large numbers, individuals stop reproducing at previous rates, or stop reproducing at all. Could homosexuality, then, be a way to allow for emotional bonding without adding a burden to the overall population? If so, it could be nature's way of assuring survival of the population, which otherwise could succumb to starvation.

i agree that gay bashing is horrendous and those that do it are either scared, ignorant or both.i believe some called you names b/c you claim that being gay is a birth defect. that is in no way to say that being born with a birth defect is bad or makes one less of a person. what it means is,you've got it all wrong. period. it is in your opinion that being gay is not normal. you have the right to think that but you need to re-think it. who is to say what is normal? not you or i.
