Ok so I have been in a relationship for about a year and a half. My GF has been ignoring me as of late and was recently robbed by gunpoint. I expressed to her that she only pays attention to me when crap hits the fan and my concern for her safty about where she lives? She recently told me that she is going to continue to live in Downtown Detroit which is where she was mugged? Do I end it or not? This has now been going on for about 6 months only her opinion matters? Please be nice I really need some advice on this.?

The first and most important thing is to be honest to yourself. If she doesn't feel the same and you feel like you only count when she needs something to fall back on, it may be a sign that you are her safety blanket, and why would she change it if you seem okay with it? You're not but she needs to know that.

Now the moving because of being mugged, you may be trying to protect her, but everyday, everywhere something bad happens. We have to live safe and keep our eyes open. Moving around everytime something goes bad isn't the way to do it. Overall that can't be the 'reason' you would end the relationship.

My opinion in this is be honest, don't ever drag something along, ever. Pain heels even when you don't think it will.

Good luck.

Okay, so what you're saying is that your GF only calls you when she needs something? Is that a GF or a user?

Sounds like y'all aren't even on the same page. If I were you I'd let this one go and look for one who treats you with more respect, and is there with/for you whether times are good or bad.

Good luck! = )

If she wants to stay in the place where she is constant danger and she won't listen to those who care, I would break up with her.

She's stubborn and won't change her ways untill she's held at gunpoint and stabbed and raped.

I USED to be the same way....but my husband has opened my eyes by showing that he cares and loves me.

First, do you love her would be the most important question. Second, how does she feel about you? Third, if you both love & care about one another the best thing you can do is communicate!! Good luck!

maybe you can sit down and talk it out. ask her about what is going on with her and if there is something you two can work out together.
