Not sure if it works for everyone but I found it great for the arthritis in the wrists, my husband praised it for his bad back and my three of my daughters thought it was brilliant for their different ailments, it helped speed up my sons recovery after a bike accident, broken bones, bruised muscles etc. and I'm now using it for sciatia, and it does seem to be helping although a little slow with this problem.

like most complementary therapies, one therapy might work for someone but not on a different person. Best thing I know is that if ur opting for acupuncture, make sure that it's a qualified acupuncturist cos it's scary if they're not, there's been incidences of injuries caused by recycled needles and inserting the wrong types of needles to the wrong pressure points so make sure they know what they're doing and they've got a proper qualification. Like other complementary therapies as well, you may go through what they call like a healing process where you'll feel ill after the session, that's how u'll know the thing is working cos that's the body eliminating the toxins. Im a health student and at the moment, I'm studying at clinical evidences that complementary therapies actually does work as I've heard loads of people ands hollywood stars doing complementary therapies now a days.

My uncle is a chiropractor and he has taken an advanced level class on acupuncture. Although some ppl are scared of needles. It helps relax the muscles. Although you might not feel relief immediatley it really does help.

Try it.

NOTHING works for everyone (not even allopathic medicine)

I like accupuncture, and it has helped me out of several sticky situations; but I am not going to make a blanket statement that it works for everyone.
