Wow thats intresting... Well I can't promise I saw a ghost but I did have two experiances... Although I could not be sure if I were dreaming. Both times was when I was younger. First was about two nights after my first dog passed away... my brother and I were sleeping in the living room because we wanted to be together (we were very upset) I remember laying on the couch sleeping with my hand hanging over the side. I felt something that felt like my dogs fur and I freaked and woke up to a candle lit living room and my (dead) dogs ghost walking around. I remember closing my eyes because I was scarred and reaching for my brother to wake him up... when I opened my eyes agian it was dark and my brother had been asking me what was wrong.
The second time took place in the same room in that house. I was laying on the couch home alone when i looked over and noticed an old man in a suit staring at me, I freaked agian, closed my eyes started crying and when I opened my eyes he was gone. Later that day I asked my mom is she believed in ghost, and she actually told me a similar story that happened to her while she was laying on the same couch, and she saw an old man in a suit too! Freaky huh! So that was my last time seeing or thinking I saw a ghost, but I was also like 12 years old, and now I am 20.

Hi there

Yes seen a ghost. I used to live in one of the oldest pubs in the UK and had the pleasure of seeing a hooded monk when i was very young. Scared me so much that i couldn't move. To this day i still question what i saw. The feeling i will never forget or want to experience again. Recently the new landlord had some ghost hunters perform an investigation there and it was broadcast on a local TV station. I haven't seen anything since

I grew up in a house that was haunted by a man named george. Being that I was a small child, innocent, and open minded the first time I had an encounter with him we actually became "friends" of sorts. I could ask George to do things like make my bedroom light flicker, or make my hanging lamp swing to entertain and scare friends (there were a few who left quickly and never returned! No lie!). I never actually saw him until I was 17 years old. When he actually showed himself to me I ran screaming from the house! He was transparent, and my cats were hissing like crazy! I ofcoarse return home later that night, I lived there. About 6 months later my family sold the house. The next family who lived there left rather quickly. A dad, mom, and two kids, all I know is that the dad had been out of town for two days and the mom drug the kids from the house in the middle of the night and REFUSED to return. The dad had to go back to the house and pack it up and move it himself (probably with friends or other family, but the mom would not go back there, or let her children return!)
My mother went and asked her what had happened that scared her so badly and the woman absolutely refused to talk about it! See, my mother once had a very unpleasant experience while alone in the house. I had fun with George myself. So did my brothers. My father says he doesn't believe in ghosts, and even though he had witnessed unexplainable things in our home, he always found some way to "logically" explain it. Denial!!!!
Sleep well tonight.......................

I have twice seen what appeared to be ghosts, but I checked and found they were not. Once, I awoke and saw a woman with a halo floating with her feet 18" or so above the floor. Closer investigation showed it was ligght shing on a scenic calendar that formes hert face, and wallpaper pattern formed her body. My brother would not check but swear he saw a ghost. I am certain that any ghosts have natural explanations, for there is no afterlife. Many Christians say the dead do not arise until Judgement Day, so both Christians and atheists agree that there are no real ghosts.

One time my brothers and sisters and cousins and friends and I were contemplating a seance in an old house where I'd spent the first 12 years of my life. It was a spooky old place, and my uncle had last lived there before he died of polio. We were clowning around at the bottom of the stairs, asking if there was anyone up there. My mom had left a box of canning jars in the open closet at the top of the stairs. We watched a jar, it didn't roll, it "flew" out of the closet, and by the time it broke at the bottom of the stairs, we were screaming out the front door!

Yeah! When I was around 6. I went downstairs and saw what I thought was my mum. She was a bit unkempt and wearing an army coat over her shoulders. Later that day I asked my mum but she said it wasn't her. About 7 years later we had moved house twice and an uncle brought a photo for my mum. It was of my grandmother. The same woman I had seen as a kid. She had been dead for years before I was born. Spooky enough?

Seen never... But I'm afraid I've heard one, often.
I'm Italian. My parents live in the very center of Bologna, in a almost 500-yaer-old house. Their sleeping room were once 2, and in each slept an aunt of my grandmother, two sisters. Both were very old (over 90), and one of them very ill: she suffered asma. One of the two aunts used to wake up during the night because of the heavy breathing of her sister: she used to stand up and open the door between the two rooms to have a quick look and be sure her sister was still alive.
Sometime, during the night, one can hear like a door opening and next something very alike to a heavy breath.
Self-suggestion? Sure. But one hears it....

one time when i was little my parents left my home while they went out and my brother and sister went to a party so i was home alone. There were these footprints coming from the living room, but it was carpeted. The footprints were going into the bathroom. When I went in there was a sudden whoose that went past me and all I could see was the footprints and a wispy, very sheer piece of cloth go out the window. I know it sounds unbelievable but it did acutely happen.
