Dry cleaning bills are killing me. The stains are food/coffee types for the most part.
Thanks

There is a do it yourself home dry cleaning product that I've heard good reports on (sorry the name is escaping me)

After getting them clean , try treating ties w a good water repellent product to help avoid future stains as they are inevitable.....I know!! (I;ve used the 3m & Quixtar repellents)

i could pass to the dry cleaners myself yet word silk is extremely dodgy and a few pink wine/gease stains would be impossible to do away with. you may get wipes incredibly for such issues from the necessities catalogue.in case you keep some hany it won't stain so undesirable next time.

Try this:
lay your tie on a basin
cover the stain with salt
and moisten with lemon juice
leave for half hr
then give it a cold wash.
Good Luck!
