I play $5 a week on PowerBall and at the place I buy tickets I always see 1 or 2 older people going nuts, forking over $50-$100 in various lottery tickets, scratching them off right there, getting back in line to roll their winnings over. I guess older people win more because they gamble more (some of course, not everybody).

Because they are all retired and they just sit around and get bored and say, "Hey! Let's go buy some lottery tickets and maybe we'll win some money!" Nah, I really don't know. I would suppose though that they are winners a lot because they have time to mess with it.

particular, the situation is with the regulation; he did his bid by skill of informing the government as to the replace in his financial situation. even so, i think of there's a non-criminal or supra-criminal, human area to maximum themes: The lottery winner could see that if he would not use this facility and others like him do a similar, that quantity must be spent someplace else. in spite of each little thing, the U. S. is in debt and its financial equipment is in simple terms improving from recession. yet will his thinking like this make a actual distinction?

Well if you had to look at it from a "karma" standpoint, it would probably be because they have survived life and have most likely never gotten all they deserved for what they put into life and people....and winning money to live out their golden years is one way of God, the Universe, or whatever giving them their just deserts.

If you don't believe in Karma, then it it's just enough luck to piss young and expectant people off.

And BTW, I don't really give a hoot about getting a 'best answer' for this..... OLD PEOPLE are the WISEST and most AWESOME people around. MY best friend is 77 years old (I am 29) Old people are full of stories to learn from and life experience that we could not even imagine.

Have a little respect.....you'll be old one day too! (if your lucky)

because us young ones are to busy working hard for our dollars instead of having nothing better do. Yet older people like to complain about the amount of social security they get! By god they scrape up enough of it to go buy a zillion lottery tickets though! We are the ones gonna be hurtting when we retire!

They have nothing better to do- some of them drop most of thier social security money on scratch tickets- I saw one old crone spend $ on scratch tickets...she only won back $10, and she broke down and cried. It was sooo funny!
