01 alero: Security system coming on frequently. I believe its the key ignition switch but not sure.?

01 alero: The security comes on too frequent, I know how to get it to go off, but lately its been doing it too much. It goes on outside my home then i go to two or three different places and 'boom' there it goes again, it wont do it everyday but still its been doing it to frequent. What's the dealy-O.

My sister's 01 Alero had that same issue, but I don't think it was as common. Try calling the local GM dealer to see if they have heard of it and have a common fix for it.
