I just caught about one minute of "The Shepherd of The Hills," a movie on tv. I KNOW I saw one cast member who had been in "It's A Wonderful Life." I THINK I saw another cast member from that movie. Who are these two people?!

Beulah Bondi as "Aunt Mollie" in The Shepard of The Hills and George Bailey's mother in It's a Wonderful Life.

I believe one of the people you're talking about is Ward Bond. He made a LOT of films with John Wayne, among them Rio Bravo and The Quiet Man (he played Father Lonigan). He was also the wagon master on tv's "Wagon Train."
In "It's a Wonderful Life" he played Bert the cop, and in "Shepherd of the Hills" (Which, incidentally, was John Wayne's first color film) he played Wash Gibbs.
