I've also watched samuraiX, Curious and naruto play i think thier great. InuYasha somehow does not appeal to me.

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is the best anime I've seen so far but there are a lot of good ones out there. It just depends on what kind you're interested in. There is an anime movie called Grave of the Fireflies that is really good (really sad) too. Other good anime movies are Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle.
Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, and Samuari Champloo are good, action animes. Fruits Basket, His and Her Circumstances, and Ai Yori Aoshi are good romantic comedies. Check out http://www.anime-planet.com/animerec/ for other good animes.

If by animes you mean Japanese Cartoons, then yes there probably is better. InuYasha is good, Yu Yu Hakusho is good, there's all kinds of that stuff out there!
