Have to leave at 4.30 in the morning so Bus/train not an option.

I always use a firm who used to be called Capital Express but changed their name so not sure what they trade as now. They are always on time and normally text or call when they get to your door. The cars are all good and the drivers friendly and helpful.

I wouldn't rely on the trains these days as you can never tell with engineering works at the weekend. If you were to get the train use the Southen service from Clapham Junction and NOT the Gatwick Express. By the time you get to Victoria you will have lost any time gain of getting the express train. Besides the Gatwick Express is ALWAYS late anyway and the Southern train is only 40 mins.
Forget the coach.

Check the bus timetable and get the Gatwcik express from Victoria unbelievably the bus is usually at there at the right time in the morning and a cab could end up in big traffic better safe then sorry that is if you can get a bus from SW4 I can't actually place where that is?
