I AGREE with you.
people have forgot or cant find that magic button the one called the ON / OFF one
( sorry i forgot they lost the remote control )
INTERESTING tho they can find the telephone to ring up and moan/whinge.
to them i say IF YOU DONT LIKE IT turn it off..
another point or issue is most times we are warned this contains screens of sex drugs violence etc etc.
we don't like it BUT what do we do we sit and watch it WHY? oh i forgot its so we can moan
i wish that the people who answer the complaints would just reply to them by saying WELL TURN IT OFF THEN.perhaps the moaners would then get the message and give up or switch channel or switch off leaving us to watch what we want
ok what some like to watch others don't but why like you said should we be told what to watch.
( i was going to say they could go on the computer but that's full of porn and they might complain and then we will be told what to search for next and i like my yahoo don't want to lose that he he .)
we cant win we are all a number or a robot i think.

I look at it this way.....No one but ME, decides what I am going to watch. I have a few select shows that I prefer to watch and only occassionally do I check out something new; i.e. The Black Donnellys. I really like this new show and am hoping that it sticks around for quite awhile. Something new was needed and this seems to be it!
Also....as far as my kids go...no one but ME (again) decides what they watch. I tend to not go by the ratings system that is in place....mainly because I don't think it applies to most shows on tv right now. I have three kids and I know what each one can handle watching. I have no problem telling each of them *No, you cannot watch this*

I have all the Sky channels to choose from and I will not be told by anyone, what I can or can't watch. If something comes on the telly that offends me, then I control the remote and I remove the offending programme. !! xx

It's usually some palid faced government "Nosey Nora" who spends their entire life watching the type of programmes they deem unfit for us mere humans. If I want to watch Alf Garnett speaking about Nig nogs or have a laugh at those miserable tight fisted scotsmen ( of which I am one)! then just let me get on with it. Remember with Alf Garnett, the joke is nearly always on him and his daft opinions rather than his intended victims!

There's a little thing called free speech. If someone fels morally insulted/ outraged/ discrminated againt etc they have the right to express that opinion adn/or complain about somehthing.
I use my free speech to watch what I want to or not
