I have to do a visual assignment for school, in which we portray a feeling through an graphic image manipulation of a person/thing. We also have to have a slogan or catch phrase that enhances the feeling, and have a back story to make the feeling more specific to our image. The 'feeling' I've been given is loneliness, but I'm having trouble coming up with the right phrase to use.
My back story is about a boy who is rejected and ridiculed by his isolated community and peers because he looks different from everyone else in his village.
It can be made up, or from a poem or song. It can't be too long, maybe just a line or two of text.
So does anyone have any ideas for a good couple lines I could use?

I should add that the goal of the image is to express the feeling and make the viewer feel what the character in the image is feeling, so the phrase should be something that makes you feel really lonely and sad.
