For me it has been the norm in the first, second and third trimester!! I was better in the second, but it has worsened again now I'm in the 3rd (I'm 31 weeks).
Some women don't get it at all, others only have it in the first trimester and some of us unlucky ones have to put up with it all the way through!!
I wasn't as bad with my first, but I have swung violently between constipation from iron tablets and diahorrea all through this time.
I hope it gets better, but I wouldn't worry, it isn't harming your baby - pregnancy always affects bowel movements, just think of everything that's going on inside your body!!
Congrats and good luck!

Yep, that's how I found out I was pregnant.
I went to the doctor after two weeks of 'tummy trouble' and pain in my abdomen.
After the third month started, it got much better. Now, I am four months along and having the other problem...

I had very frequent diarrhea in my 1st trimester! I never got constipated like many pregnant women. I asked my OBGYN about this and he said that pregnancy affects your bowels and digestive system...sometimes the outcome is constipation but its also completely normal for the outcome to be diarrhea too.
Don't worry, just make sure to drink lots of fluids to prevent dehydration!

Yes i think it is normal. I am about 4.5 weeks pregnant now, and my abdomen feels bloated and funny, but not painful. I also passed watery stool.
