broken push rods can often led to additional problems...lifters, valves & springs, guides... this is an expensive job.... Labor is the major facture... could be as high as 1500... how many miles on the car...you may want to think about a "long" block replacement...

A lot! a pushrod is an internal component to the engine that works with the camshaft in timing the injection of fuel and the exiting of exhaust gases. The part itself is probably not that expensive, but the job is extremely labor intensive. I would get estimates, but I would say in the neighborhood of 1800-2500. usually when the pushrod goes there is other damage also. I'd just get a new car if it's possible.

well like the other ask , what cause the push rod to break,,, that what you need to find, but just just the rod, i say a few dollars

better question is what caused it....may be much more broken.
