Probably. Anything that can speak human would probably be able to lie. I mean, it would depend if the dog had anything to lie about, you know?

I think that dogs are loyal, and would not lie....at least until they are sleeping, anyway.

I don't think so because they immediately confess to chewing up your favorite shoes by having their head down and whimpering or just plain out looking guilty. They aren't sneaky at all and you can read their expressions from their face so I think they wouldn't be able to lie
