We are going to stay in Zadar, Croatia for two nights, then one night in Plitvice Lakes. Where should we stay?

we want to stay in apartments to save some money, and we want to be close to the bus station and the Zadar attractions. When I looked on line, there are no places in center of Zadar or any places within walking distance of the park. Know which region would be best to stay at?

For Zadar visit www.adriatica.net and for Plitvice Lakes www.np-plitvicka-jezera.hr (the website is available in English).

It is better to stay in places outside zadar,which are not that far away from zadar,10-20km,such as Nin.
