My boyfriend and I were doing great then we started arguing all the time til the point we actually broke up twice (it was for only a few hours each time). Through all of this he fell out of love but wanted to stay together because he still cared for me. During this time I never fell out of love even though it was hard. The other night I asked him was he back in love because for the past month it has been wonderful and he said no but he was getting there if we just keep working togther as a team. He told me he would let me know when he made it to that point. Here's my problem though when I heard him say he wasn't I got sad and now it is hard for me to have intercourse with him and I don't know how to tell him that without hurting him. How long should I wait for him to be back in love? I want my feelings fully returned also.

Only you can tell how truthful he is and how manipulative he is being.
Sex can be the great revealer in this. If you tell him how you feel and he walks away, you will know what his true intentions are.

What is the differeence between caring for you and loving you. how can you care without some degree of love? I'm not sure I understand what he is saying. But ultimately it is up to you,how long you can wait.
